Hey folks, just wanted you to know what I am up to.
I have in my possession two highly anticipated and demanded high-end Intel Core i7 Mobile notebooks.
• Clevo W860CU (aka. Sager NP8690) …… new 15.6″ with mobile Core i7 and single Nvidia GTX 280M (standard MXM 3.0B)
• Dell Precision M6500 ……. new 17″ with mobile Core i7 and single ATI FirePro M7740 -or- Nvidia Quadro 2800M/3800M (Proprietary modules)
I will be doing my “ultra-detailed” review for each of them, as well as do a mini comparison for them. Also, I can even make service manuals for them since I took the time to document the fully disassemblies of the systems.

What is a virtual machine program/software?
What is a virtual OS or “Guest Operating System”?
Why would anyone one want to use a virtual machine?
What is VirtualBox?
What does VirtualBox have over the other alternatives (like VMware or VirtualPC)?
What is required to run VirtualBox on your system?
How do you setup VirtualBox on my system?
Can you do everything in a VirtualBox “Guest OS” (even 3D games)?

Firstly, I would like to personally thank Justin Nolte of Xotic PC in providing me with this system for testing and evaluation. I will be going over the latest in notebook (as well as desktop) technology in the new undisputed “World’s Fastest Notebook.”
This will be the most detailed and in-depth review you will ever find for notebooks on the Internet… I want to make sure you know everything that I found about any review that I will do. I believe that one should be as informed as possible for any future purchase… especially when its a high-end electronic or computer.

Better late than never. I would have done everything yesterday, but I was beat.
I had many many pics to go through and chose the ones that were not obviously bad… and I had to update the “E3 Booth Girls” post.
This is day three, I got a lot of video footage and interviews…. as well as my team taking many many pics.
Things to watch for:
- detailed booth pics
- Star Wars: Old Republic characters
- Wii MotionPlus (add-on to Wii-mote)
- Ninja Turtles
- G4 set for their coverage on E3 Live.
- Square-Enix products in nice displays
…. etc…
here are the pics of Day 3:
- I will update it with more pics and videos when I finish uploading them.
Check back and I will also make a “E3 Coverage” tab at the top of the page as well. Read the rest of this entry

INTRODUCTION
Square-Enix’s The Last Remnant is a new single player RPG (role playing game) that was just released on the PC (Windows). It was originally released for the Xbox 360 in late 2008, but this is not just a port (the same exact game, but on another system). This game has been improved and tweaked for better graphics and performance.
In the age of MMORPGs (massive multiplayer online role playing games), people find that they can endlessly play and develop their characters while feeling that something is missing… namely the narration and uniqueness of an offline RPG. It is rare that a Japanese single-player RPG with such a famed developer/publisher like Square-Enix to release a game for the PC since their bread and butter had always been console systems.
I have been a fan of Square for a long time since their days in the NES (Nintendo) & SNES (Super Nintendo) to their most recent games. Final Fantasy has always been the largest and most well-known franchise for Square, but they have released some of the most popular games and mini-series like Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Xenosaga, Kingdom Hearts, etc.
I found this game to be up to par in graphics evolution (from game to game), having amazing music scores, and an innovative fighting/battle system that seems quite epic at times. However, there are a few downfalls such as the overall design/look of the game since it feels too generic at times, the plot is kind of lacking, and other minor annoyances that I will elaborate on in a moment. INTRODUCTION
Uprising is an expansion to Red Alert 3, which is part of the long living RTS (real-time strategy) game series of the “Command and Conquer” world…. specifically expanding on the Red Alert series.
The interesting thing about this game was that it was announced to be a single-player expansion, which was strange for a C&C title.
Since I have been a Red Alert fan since the beginning, even getting a chance to beta test a few of them (the last one being the expansion to Red Alert 2, called Yuri’s Revenge), I had to make a review for this game. Read the rest of this entry
