What is VirtualBox?
What does VirtualBox have over the other alternatives (like VMware or VirtualPC)?
What is required to run VirtualBox on your system?
How do you setup VirtualBox on my system?
Can you do everything in a VirtualBox “Guest OS” (even 3D games)?

Are you a hardcore gamer? Can you prove it when there is nothing to win… only to lose?
Some one has created a Mac OS X game with the high stakes and winning means you could lose it all.
The game is called “Lose/Lose” and that is actually what happens when you kill enemies in the game.

Exciting news for the video game world. The most anticipated MMORPG for the PC (no, not Final Fantasy XIV Online)… Star Wars: The Old Republic will be at the stage to need a lot of beta testers.
If you feel you have what it takes to help make this game as great as it can be before it goes retail, come and join the beta.
Or if you just want to try out the game at its pre-release stage of development, you can come as well… but seriously, report any bugs or issues to help out the developers.

Supplemental to:
• Clevo D900F (Sager NP9280) Ultra-Detailed Review
• Clevo D900F 4th fan modification
I posted this a while back at the NotebookReview forums…
… but I decided to post it here and show you what I used to overclock the Core i7 in a supposed un-overclockable notebook (BIOS and software).
This notebook, as well as many other high-end Clevo models do not give overclocking ability in the BIOS.
… kind of annoying to own such a high-end system and not having the options to push it further.
I literally wasted two days trying to find a solution for getting a viable overclocking option.
I thought maybe edit the BIOS… but I did not have the latest Phoenix BIOS editor, as well as my programming skills are quite under par.
Then I decided to find a software solution… it was a painful journey as well… for the most part.
I will show you how the “World’s Fastest Notebook” just got faster…. eat your hearts out desktop owners.

Supplemental to my:
- Clevo D900F (Sager NP9280) Ultra-Detailed Review
- Clevo D900F 4th fan modification
This is for all of the XP holdouts that do not want to use Vista or Windows 7 as their one and only operating system.
Since Clevo and their vendors will not officially give support to using Windows XP (32-bit) for the Clevo D900F, I came up with my list of drivers that will work perfectly with the system.

Supplemental to the Clevo D900F Ultra-Detailed Review
This post will document my search for the fourth fan of Clevo D900F (aka. Sager NP9280). Come and read what I went through… and a windfall that led me to a successful, yet simple, fan mod (modification).

Firstly, I would like to personally thank Justin Nolte of Xotic PC in providing me with this system for testing and evaluation. I will be going over the latest in notebook (as well as desktop) technology in the new undisputed “World’s Fastest Notebook.”
This will be the most detailed and in-depth review you will ever find for notebooks on the Internet… I want to make sure you know everything that I found about any review that I will do. I believe that one should be as informed as possible for any future purchase… especially when its a high-end electronic or computer.

The new games seen at E3 this year were quite diverse and a number of them had major hype before the expo even began. One of these hyped up games was the upcoming MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), Star Wars: The Old Republic. We at Gophn.com were honored to get a last minute meeting with the LucasArts reps on the last day of E3… in fact, it was even the last hour.
We had a nice Q & A (Questions & Answers) session with the Vice President and Co-Studio Director of BioWare, Gordon Walton. (Rich Vogel was present, as well) Read the rest of this entry

Better late than never. I would have done everything yesterday, but I was beat.
I had many many pics to go through and chose the ones that were not obviously bad… and I had to update the “E3 Booth Girls” post.
This is day three, I got a lot of video footage and interviews…. as well as my team taking many many pics.
Things to watch for:
- detailed booth pics
- Star Wars: Old Republic characters
- Wii MotionPlus (add-on to Wii-mote)
- Ninja Turtles
- G4 set for their coverage on E3 Live.
- Square-Enix products in nice displays
…. etc…
here are the pics of Day 3:
- I will update it with more pics and videos when I finish uploading them.
Check back and I will also make a “E3 Coverage” tab at the top of the page as well. Read the rest of this entry
