Ok guys, here are favorite sites to find deals.
I like to check out these sites multiple times a day hoping to find some random deal that could tempt me to buy on impulse.
Hopefully you will have use of this list… and maybe contribute some site of our own.
For Daily Deals and Hot Deals:
Woot! – http://www.woot.com
• The most popular “daily deal” site that has amazing deals on the web… as well as other items for sale through woot (like wine, shirts, etc.)
ZeroDayDeals – http://www.zerodaydeals.com
• This site has all the “daily deal” sites updated, including Woot!, Tanga, ThingFling, etc.
DealNews – http://dealnews.com
• A great and easy to use site to find specific deals.
SlickDeals – http://www.slickdeals.net
• Probably one of the best sources to find deals for random items/services/etc. Definitely worth checking out multiple times a day.
• Also check out the Hot Deals forum to see what other deals that didn’t make the front page.
Fatwallet – http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals
• Another site like Slickdeals with great finds for deals from insiders and everyday people.
My favorite sites that I use to search for products:
Google Shopping (Froogle) – http://www.google.com/products
• (also known as Froogle) Google shopping will search out almost all online stores (including eBay listings)… very convenient.
NewEgg – http://www.newegg.com
• One of the best places to go for buying almost every electronic item and to check out the pricing for items online since their pricing should be the benchmark.
MWave – http://www.mwave.com
• Another good site like Newegg.
SuperBiiz (eWiz) – http://www.superbiiz.com
• (also known as Ewiz)
ZipZoomFly – http://www.zipzoomfly.com
• Another good site like Newegg.
Buy.com – http://www.buy.com
• Great site for many good products with some great deals.
Frys/Outpost – http://www.frys.com
• Great for advertised deals, just beware of used/refurb items… so do “Store Pickup” if you can.
Best Buy – http://www.bestbuy.com
• Probably one of my first places to look for sub-$500 notebook deals, and even better since you can buy it at a store.
MicroCenter – http://www.microcenter.com
• A great place to buy products in store or online because their prices are usually quite competitive.. even to Newegg.
Meritline – http://www.meritline.com
• A great site for random small products and electronics… and great for flash memory and CD/DVD media.
DealExtreme – http://www.dealextreme.com
• A great site like Meritline. Everything has free shipping (takes about a week or so) and is dirt cheap… great for flash memory and USB drives.
FocalPrice – http://www.focalprice.com
• An alternative site to DealExtreme… almost identical.
The best site to find products for best prices and with local pickup:
Craigslist – http://www.craigslist.org
• Amazing site to find products sold by another person… you can haggle, check out the product, and buy it if you like it.
